About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive Senior Analyst, Sales Operations & Business Insights to support sales execution, drive cross-functional alignment, and provide actionable business insights that fuel growth. This role serves as a key business partner to the Sales organization, helping translate data into strategic recommendations while ensuring seamless execution of national account initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Insights

  • Analyze industry trends, market intelligence, and customer data to support sales strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Leverage resources such as Technomic, Datassential, CRM platforms, and internal reporting tools to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Develop impactful presentations, business reviews, and executive summaries that translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Provide insights that support customer growth, portfolio expansion, and strategic decision-making.

Sales Operations & Performance Reporting

  • Own the development and delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting, including revenue performance, pipeline health, customer retention, and key business metrics.
  • Analyze results and proactively identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities in collaboration with Sales and Finance teams.
  • Maintain data integrity across CRM and ERP systems, ensuring accurate pricing, order visibility, reporting, and documentation.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate and manage national account initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Finance to support customer requests, product innovation, pricing initiatives, and project deliverables.
  • Track project milestones, timelines, dependencies, and action plans across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Lead meeting preparation, capture key decisions, and drive accountability through effective follow-up and communication.

Documentation & Process Management

  • Maintain customer contracts, pricing agreements, NDAs, and other critical client documentation.
  • Ensure proper version control, compliance, and audit readiness of customer-facing materials.
  • Support contract routing, approval workflows, signature tracking, and secure document management practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Business Analysis (Sales), Commercial Operations, Sales Enablement, or Project Coordination.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to tell compelling business stories through data.
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce, Blacksmith, Sage, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and follow-through skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting national accounts, commercial strategy, pricing, or customer development in a B2B environment.
  • Foodservice, food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or distribution industry experience.
  • Familiarity with market intelligence platforms such as Technomic or Datassential.
  • Experience with project tracking, workflow management, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong cross-functional partnerships.

Compensation

Pay Range: $35-$45 HR
